Bonjour, j'ai un parc de 50m2 avec de la sauvagine dedans. Pour l'hiver je souhaite avoir un gazon bien dense. Je me demandais, si je mets de l’engrais en ce moment, y-a-t-il un risque pour les canards.( notamment en cas d'ingestion?)

j'ai 7 canards en tout dans le parc

si tu met un engrais " pature" en petite billes , il faut virer tes coincs au moins 15 jours , le temp que les billes se dissolvent !!! ;)

Tu peux faire un apport de composte,c est naturel donc aucun risque pour tes betes et c est riche en azote mais attention de ne pas trop en mettre si tu vas bruler ton herbe
Je suis surpris que tu ais besoin de mettre de l'engrais. Quand j'avais des canards dans ma pelouse, je n'avais pas besoin de mettre d'engrais, les fientes suffisaient pour engraisser l'herbe.cette dernière est un complément et pas spécialement la nourriture principale des canards.
je souhaite avoir un gazon qui à du pied pour l'hiver, actuellement je dois le tondre mais à quelques endroits il n'est pas forcement très dru.

A part les vignons apellé broutzux et les oies qui eux consomment beaucoups d herbe

je ne trouve pas que les fientes de canard / oies soient un bon engrais, c 'est meme bien l inverse.
ca fait des années ans que mes oiseaux sont sur la pelouse et je remarque que les graminés soufrent (en plus de leur consommation).
j ai recours à de l engrais au printemps (les oiseaux n ont pas acces à ce moment là pendant 3 semaines , le temps que que engrais fonde )et je vois ensuite la différence de qualité d herbe

Ok, le problème est que les canards comme tous les brouteurs sélectionnent les herbes et donc, au bout d'un certain temps, tu peux vite te retrouver qu'avec du refus... Il faut aussi trouver le bon équilibre et ne pas trop charger en canards.
Slt gabioneur 59, je travail beaucoup au contacte d'engrais (horticulture), et je peux te dire que la peau de mes mains n'apprécient que très peu ces produits. Donc j'imagine que les canards si ils le mangent n'apprecieront pas plus!
et est ce la periode pour en mettre??? j'ai un doute :P
